Les Lalannes' Auction Record Jumps 66%

sold for $8.73m (EUR7.5m), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on May 27.

The Patinated bronze and gilt bronze work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat Les Lalannes' previous auction record by $3.5m, a 66% rise.
