Gino Poli's Auction Record Jumps 12%

Rare ‘Vicenza’ vase, model ‘10090’ made by Aureliano Toso, Murano (1965)

sold for $29,600 (EUR25,400), more than three times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on May 27.

The Blown transparent glass with internal ‘thrown’ lattimo thread decoration work has not been traded before.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $3,301, a 12% rise.
