Ouattara Watts creates large-scale multimedia paintings that fuse African spiritual iconography with Western modernist abstraction, producing layered surfaces that collapse temporal and cultural boundaries. Born in Ivory Coast and based there, his work synthesizes figuration, pattern, and gestural mark-making to address the coexistence of traditional belief and contemporary urban life. His paintings have entered major international collections and been shown widely across Europe and North America.
