Shana Moulton is an American artist working primarily in video and performance. Her practice centers on absurdist, often autobiographical narratives populated by eccentric characters and domestic scenarios that resist conventional storytelling. Working across video installation, single-channel works, and live performance, she creates layered, deliberately awkward compositions that combine low-fi production aesthetics with conceptual rigor. Her work engages with themes of bodily vulnerability, female subjectivity, and the uncanny spaces between the personal and the constructed.
