Ceramics
Rebecca Belmore is a Canadian artist working across performance, installation, and sculpture since the 1980s. Her practice engages with Indigenous displacement, colonial violence, and the politics of representation through physically demanding interventions and monumental forms. Her work has been presented at documenta and the Venice Biennale. Belmore frequently uses her own body as material, combining archival research with site-specific action to address historical trauma and sovereignty.
