Pin River-Hudson

Maya Ying Lin is an American architect and artist working across monumental sculpture, landscape design, and installation. Her practice engages memorial and commemorative forms, most prominently the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, a black granite wall inscribed with names that fundamentally reshaped how contemporary culture approaches public mourning and collective memory.
