Claude Closky is a French artist working across video, photography, and text-based installations that interrogate language, enumeration, and the visual systems underlying everyday life. His practice frequently employs lists, counts, and repetitive structures to expose the arbitrary logic of categorization and consumer culture. Working since the 1990s, Closky has developed a conceptual approach that treats formal constraint and linguistic play as tools for revealing hidden patterns in how information is organized and perceived.
