Danny Hillis is an American computer scientist and inventor whose work spans parallel computing architecture, artificial intelligence, and mechanical design. Co-founder of Thinking Machines Corporation, he developed the Connection Machine, a pioneering massively parallel supercomputer designed to process information in fundamentally new ways.
