Bill Woodrow is a British sculptor known for transforming discarded industrial materials and found objects into figurative and abstract forms. Working since the 1970s, he has developed a distinctive practice that reveals hidden narratives within cast-off machinery, domestic appliances, and salvaged metal. His sculptures often combine welding and assembly techniques to create striking, sometimes surreal juxtapositions that interrogate the relationship between function, obsolescence, and form.
