Ted Stamm was an American painter and draftsman whose geometric abstractions employed ruled lines, mathematical progressions, and industrial materials to explore the boundary between drawing and painting. Working in Brooklyn during the 1970s and early 1980s, he developed a rigorous practice rooted in constructivism and grid-based systems, executed in ink, acrylic, and graphite with deliberate restraint.
