Robyn Denny was a British painter who developed large-scale abstract works centered on color relationships and spatial depth, emerging as a key figure in postwar abstraction. Working primarily in oil on canvas, his compositions employed bold, often rectilinear forms and subtle tonal modulations to create optical and psychological tension. He exhibited internationally and contributed to the evolution of British abstract art from the 1950s onward.
