Günther Kieser is a German graphic designer and poster artist born in 1930. Working primarily in lithography and screenprint, he developed a distinctive visual language rooted in modernist reduction and political engagement. His posters, created across five decades, employed bold typography, layered color fields, and symbolic imagery to address social and cultural themes. Kieser's work became emblematic of postwar German design practice.
