Happ Ours (Happ naš)

Tomislav Gotovac was a Croatian artist and filmmaker whose practice spanned performance, video, and conceptual work from the 1960s onward. Working in the postwar Yugoslavian context, he developed an idiosyncratic approach to bodily expression and self-presentation that challenged institutional boundaries between art and lived experience. His work anticipated performance and video art movements while remaining deeply rooted in the specific conditions of Croatian cultural production.
