Sculpture

Berto Lardera was an Italian sculptor known for abstract bronze and metal works developed in the postwar period. Working across welded steel and cast bronze, his forms combined geometric abstraction with organic sculptural presence. Based between Italy and Paris, Lardera contributed to the development of constructivist and abstractionist approaches in European sculpture during the mid-twentieth century.
