Alfredo Volpi was a Brazilian modernist painter born in São Paulo who worked primarily in geometric abstraction and architectural forms. His compositions of windows, facades, and interior spaces employed a restrained palette and precise linear perspective to explore the relationship between color, plane, and urban geometry. Active across the twentieth century, Volpi developed a distinctive approach to abstract painting rooted in the vernacular architecture of Brazil.
