Silent Eclectic Fish Tattoo

This unusual etching was made by four School of the Art Institute of Chicago alums (from top to bottom: Art Green, Vera Berdich, Suellen Rocca, and William Schwedler) playing the game known as Exquisite Corpse, which was invented by the Surrealists in the early 20th century. To play the game, a piece of paper is folded into sections; each participant then contributes a portion of the overall composition while remaining unaware of what the others have done.
