Eugène Dodeigne is a French sculptor known for monumental abstracted forms carved in stone and wood. Working primarily in the second half of the twentieth century, Dodeigne developed a language of simplified, organic volumes that occupy space with considerable presence. His practice bridges figuration and abstraction, rooted in the formal investigations of modernist sculpture.
