Luigi Veronesi
Luigi Veronesi was an Italian abstract artist and pioneer of geometric and kinetic abstraction in postwar Europe. Working primarily in painting and design, he developed a rigorous vocabulary of color, form, and rhythm that engaged directly with light and spatial illusion. Based in Milan, Veronesi was instrumental in establishing abstract art's intellectual foundations in Italy during the 1950s and 1960s. His practice extended to graphic design, photography, and experimental film, all informed by a systematic exploration of geometric composition and optical dynamics.
