Paul Schuitema was a Dutch graphic designer and photographer who pioneered modernist approaches to commercial and industrial design during the early twentieth century. Working primarily in photography, typography, and print design, he developed a distinctive visual language rooted in geometric abstraction and functional clarity. Active in avant-garde circles in the Netherlands, Schuitema's work helped establish the foundations of European modernist graphic design.
