Hans Scharoun
Hans Scharoun was a German architect and urban planner whose practice emphasized organic, flowing spatial relationships and expressive sculptural forms. Working primarily from the 1920s onward, he developed an approach that rejected rigid modernist geometry in favor of curved walls, asymmetrical layouts, and buildings that responded to their natural and urban contexts. His designs for cultural and residential projects established him as a key figure in European modernism during the mid-twentieth century.
