Landscape at Vence

Jean Marchand was a French painter active in the early twentieth century, known for landscape and figurative work executed in oil. Born in 1883 and working until his death in 1940, Marchand engaged with post-impressionist color and form during a period of significant modernist experimentation in Europe.
