Erika Giovanna Klien was an Austrian painter and printmaker whose work emerged from modernist abstraction and geometric form in the early twentieth century. Active across painting, woodcut, and lithography, she developed a distinctive vocabulary of interlocking planes and rhythmic linear compositions.
