Johannes Molzahn was a German painter and printmaker associated with Expressionism and the New Objectivity movement. Active from the 1920s onward, he worked primarily in oil, watercolor, and woodcut, developing a formal language that combined angular abstraction with figurative elements. His practice engaged with the social and political upheaval of Weimar Germany and the subsequent displacement caused by World War II.
