Chris Hendrik Beekman was a Dutch painter and draughtsman active in the early-to-mid twentieth century. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, he engaged with modernist developments while maintaining a figurative sensibility. Born in 1887 and based in the Netherlands throughout his career, Beekman contributed to Dutch artistic discourse during a period of significant formal experimentation.
