Edward Wadsworth was a British painter and printmaker associated with Vorticism and later Surrealism, known for his precise compositions and distinctive use of tempera on hardboard. His work ranged from angular, machine-inspired abstractions in the 1910s to meticulously rendered maritime and coastal scenes rendered with an almost photographic clarity.
