Adelina Patti Traviata

Camille Silvy was a French photographer active in the mid-nineteenth century, working primarily in portraiture and landscape photography during the early expansion of photographic practice. He established a studio in London and became known for his technical refinement in albumen and carte de visite processes. His work documents the visual conventions and commercial potential of photography in Victorian society.
