The Vision of Saint William of Aquitaine

Giovanni Angelo Canini was an Italian painter active in Rome during the mid-seventeenth century. Working primarily in oil on canvas, he produced religious and historical compositions in the Baroque manner, with particular attention to dramatic light and figural arrangement.
