Michal Rovner works in video, photography, and large-scale installation, often projecting footage of anonymous human figures reduced to near-abstract, repetitive motion across stone, paper, or architectural surfaces. Her work operates at the threshold between the individual and the collective, dissolving identity into pattern and movement. She has exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Louvre, and received the Israel Prize for plastic arts in 2023.
